Copy Trading FAQs
Copy trading is a form of trading where one person automatically copies the trades of lead traders. This allows the copier to replicate the trading strategies and results of the trader they are following, without needing to manage the trades themselves. It can be a way to learn or earn passively, but it’s not without risks, as the copied trades can also lead to losses.
Once you’ve selected the trader you want to copy and set your Autocopy preferences, the algorithm will automatically mirror eligible trades made by your chosen Lead Trader. Any trade within your set parameters will be copied instantly, unless there are insufficient funds or another issue. If a trade is skipped, it will appear in your Autocopy timeline under missed trades. You can copy an unlimited number of traders at once. Autocopy remains active unless paused or if the Lead Trader stops trading.
We have two investment options to choose from, “Relative to Leader” or “Fixed Amount”, depending on your choice cost will vary.
Fixed: Minimum investment is equivalent to $10.
Relative to Leader: The minimum investment depends on the minimum available position of an instrument.
By default, your trades will follow the Lead Trader’s Stop Loss and Take Profit limits, but you can easily customize your copy trading settings. You have the flexibility to adjust parameters such as your risk level, Stop Loss, and Take Profit limits, giving you full control over your trades while copying other traders.
When choosing a trader to copy, consider factors like their performance history, risk score, trading strategy, and consistency. Look for traders whose risk appetite aligns with yours and check their portfolio diversity to ensure it matches your investment goals. You can also review their risk management techniques, such as stop-loss settings and trade volume.
